MASTER CLASS

with

Michael Hauge

This all-day, hands on workshop is open only to those members of OWC who have participated in Michael’s STORY MASTERY seminar – last year in Portland or Seattle, or on July 12th of this year, the day before this special event. Enrollment is strictly limited to keep the group small and give everyone the opportunity for feedback on their work in progress –screenplays, manuscripts or nonfiction. Michael will specifically focus on story concepts, character development, plot structure, love stories, writing style, theme and commercial potential. Michael will also give participants the opportunity to get individual coaching on their 60-second pitches

Prior to the class, participants will be expected to submit their work to Michael AND to read the work by the other participants (this process will be explained in detail after you enroll). It is not necessary, however, to have a completed manuscript or screenplay; the workshop is designed for first drafts of works in progress as well..

For those of you who have heard Michael speak and want a refresher course on his unique approach to story, he suggests you view is DVD with Chris Vogler, The Hero’s 2 Journeys and read his book Selling Your Story in 60 Seconds. Both are available through his web site at www.ScreenplayMastery.com.
