Her current series is the story of Titus Quinn's journey in search of his family through the Entire, a tunnel universe with a river of fire for a sky. Publishers Weekly listed this novel among the top 150 books of 2007, and it was also a top five science fiction pick at American Library Association. It was Greg L. Johnson's #1 book of 2007 for SF Site. The book has elements of fantasy, and has been described as sci-fantasy in nature. The Washington Post called it "A splendid fantasy quest as compelling as anything by Stephen R. Donaldson, Philip Jose Farmer, or yes, J. R. R. Tolkien."
